Morocco risk missing out on the upcoming African Cup of Nations after losing 2-0 to hosts Mozambique in the first leg of the qualifiers' final round on Sunday in Maputo. Almiro Lobo gave Mozambique the lead in the 75th minute and Elias Pelembe wrapped up the victory in stoppage time. Morocco will face an uphill climb when they meet Mozambique in Rabat in next month's second leg. They will need to win by a three goal margin to reach next year's Nations Cup finals in South Africa. Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe beat Angola 3-1 in Harare. The second legs will be played 12-14 October. (ahram)
