Chairman of Zamalek sports club Mortada Mansour stressed that the match with perennial rivals Al Ahly will be played as scheduled on December 29.
The match, that comes as part of the Egyptian Premier League, will not be postponed, Mansour said in statements posted on the club's website.
Two second-half goals from Ibrahim Salah and Bassem Morsi gave Zamalek an easy 2-0 victory over Ittihad on Saturday.
Zamalek moved fourth in the table with 28 points from 12 games, 11 behind title holders Ahly who played 15.
Ahly face a tough clash against high-flying Masry on Sunday after he ended his match with Enppi 0-0 draw.
