Kuwait's Ahmad Al-Qattan won the silver in the pommel horse individual competitions of the 5th Arab Men Gymnastics Championship on Tuesday. Al-Qattan scored 14.30 points in the event behind Algeria's Waleed Hasseeb's 14.35 points. Tunisia Wesam Harzi came third with 14.1 points. Tunisian Wajdi Buallaq scored 14.2 points to win the gold medal in the floor exercise. Egypt's Ali Ramadhan came first in the still rings by scoring 15 points, Hasseeb came second and Iraqi Laith Habib third with 13.8 points. Al-Qattan, in a statement after the end of today's competitions, said the Kuwaiti team was capable of achieving more medals in the third and final day tomorrow. Source: KUNA
