Kuwaiti Fencing team won the second bronze medal in the floret category at the U-23 Asian Fencing Championship, hosted by the Philippines and concluded late on Wednesday.
Thuwaini Hussein Al-Hajeri, the secretary of the Kuwait Fencing Federation, told KUNA the bronze was won by the champions, Hassan Al-Khayat, Hussein Al-Fodari, Abdullah Ghloum and Khaled Al-Yusuf, after beating the Hong Kong foes.
The Kuwaiti team has won the first bronze in sabre -- namely by Yusuf Al-Shamlan, Abdullah Al-Shemali, Bandar Al-Shamlan, and Khaled Al-Shamlan after defeating the Indian team 45-20.
The tournament involved teams from 30 countries.
