Following the suit of Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, Bahrain conceded yet another defeat for the GCC camp at the 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC), losing to Iran by 2-0 goals in the Group C match.
The only GCC team to have scored a win in the current tournament was the UAE but that came at the expense of Qatar by 4-1 goals.
In today's match, Iran scored twice in the first minute of injury time of the opening half while the second goal came 70th minute.
The UAE and Iran top the group in first and second position respectively with three points each.
Bahrain will play the UAE next on January 15th while Qatar will face Iran on the same day.
