DUBAILAND, an entertainment, retail and residential destination, managed by Dubai Properties Group (DPG), today said that it will host a FIFA-approved Football complex. The project will be brought to DUBAILAND by Corner General Trading, a company who specializes in sports project investments. The complex will include indoor and outdoor football fields, game zones, and will further contribute to DUBAILAND's existing sports portfolio, which currently hosts world class events and academies including Dubai Sports City and Arabian Ranches Polo Club. The development is expected to be completed by the end of 2015, DUBAILAND said in a press release. A total of four air conditioned, indoor football fields fully equipped with FIFA approved artificial grass and fan seating, outdoor fields, and gaming zones have been planned for this project, allowing visitors to be entertained regardless of the temperature outdoors. In addition, all fields are FIFA approved, providing players with the ultimate football experience. DUBAILAND residents and visitors will be able to enjoy the state-of-the-art football complex year round. An impressive 107,639 sq.ft. plot in DUBAILAND, near Al Barsha South 3, has been allocated for the construction of the football park. An area that is easily accessible to all DUBAILAND communities including residents of Remraam, Layan, The Villa, Al Waha and the newly re-launched Mudon Townhouse family community. DUBAILAND is a growing district of Dubai offering a wide range of entertainment, sporting, shopping, leisure and residential amenities including Dubai Sports City, Global Village, MotorCity, Dubai Autodrome, Dubai Outlet Mall, and Al Sahra Desert Resort Equestrian Centre. Visitor attractions within DUBAILAND continue to attract millions of visitors every year, with more than 13 million recorded in 2012 alone. From : WAM
