Moroccan Bouchaib El Jadiani won the 47th Annual Saudi Aramco Invitational Tournament, beating Reid Perry on the first hole of a sudden death playoff recently at the Rolling Hills Golf Club in Dhahran. El Jadiani birdied the 18th hole, holing in a 6-footer after a good drive and a 60-degree wedge shot, while Perry was short of the green on his approach shot and conceded the hole after his chip from the fringe was way off the mark. El Jadiani and Perry both posted two-day totals of 163. Perry tied El Jadiani after 36 holes when the Moroccan player dropped three shots on the last three holes including a double bogey on the 18th. Bouchaib carded rounds of 76-87 while Perry shot 80-83. It was the second title in this prestigious tournament for El Jadiani, who managed to participate despite his busy schedule as the golf manager at Dirab Golf & Country Club in Dirab. Mohammed Al Noami finished in third place, one shot behind with a total of 164. Gary Lorentz took the 1st net prize in a very close three-way countback against Mohammed Al Sayed and David Westion, all with a net score of 155. So far more then 100 players have sign up for the tournament and each player will receive a golf shirt courtesy of Xerox. Tournament format is four-ball Texas Scramble. Breakfast and lunch will be served to all participants as usual. There will be valuable raffle prizes from Xerox at the end of the prize distribution ceremony.
