Egypt's national football team coach Shawki Gharib stressed that he will not tender his resignation after the loss to Senegal in the finals of the African Cup of Nations.
Egypt lost 1-0 to Senegal in the match that was held n Saturday at Cairo Stadium.
At a press conference, Gharib stressed that the team has still a chance to qualify for the CAF finals as it is going to play against Tunisia on Wednesday.
He said he is to blame for the team's defeat against Senegal and not the players who did their best in the match.
In order to avoid missing its third consecutive Africa Cup of Nations, Egypt must beat upstart Tunisia which has already clinched a spot in the finals.
