The Egypt Football Association (EFA) Competitions Committee decided Saturday to postpone the upcoming round of the Egyptian Premier League until 8 December due to the Olympic team's participation in the 2012 African Olympic Games Qualifiers that will take place in Morocco. The 7th matchday of the league was scheduled to be played on 18 and 19 November, the same days that Hany Ramzi's Olympic team will prepare for the game against Gabon in the African championship. The Egyptian Olympic team are in the same group of the U-23 African Championship as Gabon, South Africa and Ivory Coast. The Committee also stated that Ahly's next match will be played behind closed doors, despite the team's supporters threat to attend the game. Moreover, the Zamalek and Wadi Degla game that had been postponed from the first week will now be played on 18 November.
