23 Algerian players were called up by national coach Christian Gourcuff for the training camp from November 10 to 20 in the National Technical Centre of Sidi Moussa, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) announced Tuesday.
The Desert Foxes are set to take on Ethiopia on 15 November in Blida and Mali, four days later (19th November) in Bamako, for the 5th and 6th days of CAN -2015 playoffs.
With four wins in four games, Algeria tops Group B and is already qualified for the coming African Cup of Nations (CAN-2015).
The list of the 23-man squad is:
Goalkeepers: Azzedine Doukha (JS Kabylie), Rais M’Bolhi (Philadelphia Union), Mohamed Zemmamouche (USM Algiers).
Defenders: Essaid Belkalem (Trabzonspor), Madjid Bougherra (Al Foudjeira), Liassine Cadamuro (Osasuna), Faouzi Ghoulam (Napoli), Rafik Halliche (Qatar Club), Aissa Mandi (Reims), Carl Medjani (Trabzonspor), Djamel Mesbah (Sampdoria) and Mehdi Zeffane (Lyon).
Middle-fielders: Mehdi Abeid (Newcastle), Yacine Brahimi (Porto), Abdelmoumene Djabou (Club Africain), Sofiane Feghouli (Valencia), Mehdi Lacen (Getafe), Riyadh Mahrez (Leicester), Saphir Taïder (Sassuolo).
Strikers: Baghdad Bounedjah (Etoile Sportive du Sahel), Nabil Ghilas (Cordoba), Islam Slimani (Sporting Lisbon), Hilal Sudani (Dynamo Zagreb).
