Algerian striker Youcef Belaïli is hopeful of securing his place in Algeria's 2014 World Cup squad. The Espérance de Tunis striker is yet to make his debut for the senior side, having represented Algeria in the 2011 CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco. Belaïli told Arab Today that he is looking to impress national team coach Vahid Halilhodži? after being told that the would be named in the provisional 28-man squad. The 21-year-old said its important for the Greens to remain focused and qualify for the World Cup in Brazil. "Even if I am not called up to the national team, I would continue giving my best to join the national team and convince the coach," he said. Belaïli also reiterated his desire to remain with his Tunisian club until the end of his contract.
