The draw of the prestigious 15th Asian Handball Club League Championship 2012 was dully held at the intercontinental hotel, Doha on Friday. According to Friday’s draw, some 13 Asian clubs will involve in the event, they are distributed into three groups. Qatar’s representative, Al-Jaish SC is pooled in group A beside Al-Ahli (UAE), Kuwait SC of Kuwait and Al-Sadd of Lebanon. Qatar’s second representative, Al-Rayyan SC is distributed in group B alongside Al-Jazeerah (UAE) , Al-Noor (KSA), Muscat of Oman, as group C includes defending champions, Mudhar (KSA), Thamen Al-Hejaj (Iran) , Al-Arabi (Kuwait), Al-Ahli (Bahrain) and Jiangsu of China. Mr. Ahmed Al-Shaabi, the President of Qatar Handball Association (QHA), Naser Al-Ali, the President of Al-Jaish Club, Dr. Ahmed Aboleil, the Executive Director of Asian Handball Federation (AHF) and Jassim Diab, the AHF Technical Manager attended the draw ceremony. The championship will be held in Doha from 02 to 16 November, 2012 The Asian Handball Club League Championship is the official competition for men's handball clubs of Asia, and takes place every year.
