Former world number-one Ramy Ashour of Egypt has reached round two of the Punj Lloyd PSA Masters 2011 in New Delhi after beating Malaysia’s Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan 3-1. The 24-year-old Ashour, who holds three 2011 World Series titles, finally made his return to the PSA World Tour after suffering a hamstring injury in last month's World Open needing 42 minutes to knock out world number-37 Adnan (11-9, 3-11, 4-11, 9-11). Another three Egyptians – Karim Darwish, Mohamed El-Shorbagy and Omar Mosaad – passed to the second round, competing for the $165,000 prize for the tournament currently taking place in Siri Fort Complex. Hisham Mohamed Ashour, Mohd Ali Anwar Reda and Omar Abdel Aziz weren’t successful, having been eliminated after their first-round battles.
