The participants in the Arab Sports Media Forum stressed the necessity of activating the role of Arab sports media outlets in conveying the true picture of the Syrian sport and its achievements despite the war’s circumstances.
The Forum was held on Tuesday at the building of General Sports Federation in Damascus under the title of “Sport is a Message of Peace and a Culture of Dialogue.”
The participants called for finding the appropriate mechanisms to convey the message of Syrian sport for love and peace through the Arab media outlets, as they discussed the role of media in promoting the message of peace and activating the culture of dialogue.
A number of Arab journalists at the forum expressed their readiness to convey the true image of what is happening in Syria through their media outlets to confront to the media disinformation that accompanied the circumstances of the terrorist war on it and transfer them to the Arab and international public opinion.
