President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Mohamed Raouraoua said Monday that the Algerian team preparation for the African Cup of Nations CAN-2015 in the Equatorial Guinea (17 January -8 February), will take place in Algiers.
"With the coach, we'll define a program of preparation at the national technical center in Sidi Moussa (Algiers) with at least a friendly match, at home or away. We will fly to Equatorial Guinea five days before the first match as stipulated in the regulations," said FAF boss, shortly after the arrival of the Desert Foxes in Bamako for their last CAN 2015 qualifiers match against Mali to be contested on Wednesday.
Algeria, already qualified for CAN 2015, tops the group B with 15 points, ahead of Mali and Malawi, with 6 points each. Ethiopia is last with 3 points.
"The program of preparation of the national team for the CAN will be published soon, just after the draw for the finals which will be held December 3 in Malabo," he said.
