Algerian men's boxing (junior) team, made up of nine pugilists who competed Friday in different African championship final bouts in Yaounde, Cameroon, snatched six gold medals. The gold medals were won by Jugurtha Ait Beka (52 kg), Salem Tamma (56 kg), Chemseddine Kramou (60 kg), Azzedine Lameche (64 kg), Bouzid Youcef (91 kg) and Ouarzeddine Amar Adlane (+91 kg). In addition, Omani Wael (69 kg) and Charef Koussaila (81 kg) got silver medals, while Zoheir Boutine won a bronze medal. In women's senior boxers, Algeria snatches three medals, namely a gold medal by Souhila Bouchene (48 kg), a silver medal by Roumaissa Boualem (51 kg) and a bronze medal by Manel Meherssi. Source: APS
