Al Shabab joined Al Ittifaq at the top of the Saudi Arabian Premier League following a 1-0 win over Al Qadissiyyah on Thursday. Ibrahima Yattara netted the winner in the 65th minute to give the hosts their third win in their opening three games. Bader Al Kharashi's second-half equaliser secured a 1-1 draw for Al Faysali against Al Nasr. Mohammed Al Sahlawi had put the visitors in front after 20 minutes but Al Kharashi levelled in the 69th minute. Finally, Al Fateh and Al Raed played out a goalless draw.
