Al-Sadd and al-Ahli set for basketball finale

Qatar’s Al-Sadd SC will take on Al-Ahli of United Arab Emirates in the final match of the 33rd GCC Club Basketball Championship in Muscat, Oman on Thursday. In the semifinals, Al-Sadd defeated Al-Rayyan of Qatar while Al-Ahli downed Kazma of Kuwait. The participating teams were pooled in two groups, Group “A” Al Rayyan (QAT), Nizwa (OMA), Al Ahli (UAE), Al Muharraq (BAH). Group “B” Ahli-Sidab (OMA), Al Sadd (QAT), Uhud (KSA) and Kazma (KUW).
