Kuwait’s Al-Kuwait football team on Saturday defeated Iraq’s Irbil 4-0 in the AFC Cup final match at Franso Harriri Stadium. From the start, the Kuwaiti team took full control and began the scoring from a penalty kick taken by Shadi Al-Hamam at the first two minutes of the game, while the second goal was scored by professional Brazilian player Rogerio de Assis at the 41st minute. In the second half, the Iraqi team was able to attack deep inside, but Kuwaiti defense was strong, including tremendous efforts by goalkeeper Mosab Al-Kanderi. The third goal came during a counterattack at the 83rd minute thanks to player Abdulhadi Khamis, while the fourth came at the 90th minute thanks to Abdullah Al-Thefiri.
