The 2010-11 UAE Pro-League champions clinched their first piece of silverware this season with a hard-fought final victory over Bani Yas on Monday evening.Al Jazira has lifted the UAE President's Cup after Brazilian striker Ricardo Oliveira netted a crucial second-half goal to guide his side to a 3-1 victory over Bani Yas on Monday evening in Abu Dhabi. The result sees the 2010-11 Pro-League champions claim their first piece of silverware for the campaign, after they crashed out of the Emirates Cup at the semi-final stage, while in the league they currently sit in second spot but eight points behind leaders Al Ain with four games to play.Al Jazira had gone ahead early through Australian defender Lucas Neill, but Bani Yas levelled on 47 minutes thanks to Nawaf Mubarak's superb strike from 25 yards.Bani Yas appeared in control in the second-half before ex-Milan man Oliveira struck on 72 minutes with a free-kick.Al Jazira keeper Ali Kasheif kept Bani Yas at bay as they rallied before substitute Ali Mubarak completed the win with a third. After the game, Al Jazira boss Caio Junior labelled Neill "very important" and said Kasheif pulled off the "save of the match", while he also heaped praise on his Brazilian attacker.“He stopped Yousef Jaber in attack with Diaky to his left,” Caio Junior told reporters. “But we struggled to offer him any good balls."It took a long time for him to receive a good pass and I told him with only one ball that you receive you can decide the match and then it happens.”Meanwhile, Bani Yas boss Gabriel Calderon fumed at Neill's opening goal which he believes saw him "rugby tackle" his opponent in the lead-up."If you give the other side the first goal in a final, it's difficult, difficult," Calderon said."It was a rugby foul, not a little foul. It's terrible. Terrible."
