Al Ittifaq went top of the Saudi Arabian Premier League with a 2-0 win at Al Ansar. The visitors went in front two minutes before the break when Sebastian Tagliabue found the back of the net and Bruno Lazaroni then wrapped up the points seven minutes from time. Hadj Bougueche hit a first-half hat-trick as Al Qadissiyyah routed Al Fateh 6-1. Bougueche broke the deadlock after 23 minutes and Uche Agba then added a quickfire double for the visitors before Bougueche completed his treble with two goals in a minute just before the break. Salomo Fuakuputu got Al Fateh on the scoresheet three minutes into the second period but Saleh Al Quainem claimed Al Qadissiyyah's sixth eight minutes from the end. Finally, Najran claimed a 1-0 victory at Al Raed thanks to Syrian midfielder Jehad Al Hussain's 81st-minute goal.
