H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has received the head of Sports Day Work Team, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, at the Emiri Court.
Major General Al Raisi was also received by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman..
The Ruler of Ajman and the Crown Prince were separately briefed on the sports, entertainment, promotional, heritage and competitive events, as well as awareness programmes related to health, sports, environment, national identity, and others.
They were also briefed on the objectives of the initiative, which enhances youth solidarity among all the segments of society, various entities and departments. Sheikh Humaid and Sheikh Ammar familiarised themselves with the efforts to implement the programmes, which were approved after its launch last year.
Al Raisi extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Ruler of Ajman and the Crown Prince for their continuous support to the events and activities of National Sports Day.
A number of officials attended the meeting.
The National Sports Day initiative was launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
