Egypt and Ahly striker Emad Meteb will not move to the Qatari League during the summer transfer window, Nader Shawky, the player's agent, told state news agency MENA on Monday. Qatari daily Al-Watan recently reported that the Pharaohs hitman had asked Shawky to obtain an offer for him from the Qatari League – claims that the agent strenuously denies. "Talk about Meteb's departure to Qatar isn't true; he never mentioned to me that he wanted to leave," the agent explained. "Meteb is set to remain with Ahly." The 29-year-old player is currently training at Egypt's camp in Alexandria amid preparations for a 1 June World Cup 2014 qualifier against Mozambique. ahramonline .
