USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann has organised for two members of the national squad to train with Bundesliga club Kaiserslautern. Klinsmann has used his contacts in Germany to allow midfielders Robbie Rogers and Kyle Beckerman to train with the Kaiserslautern team for several weeks. The 47-year-old Klinsmann is a former Germany team-mate of Kaiserslautern's chairman Stefan Kuntz. Attacking midfielder Rogers, 24, has made 81 appearances for Major League Soccer (MLS) side Columbus Crew, scoring twelve goals and has earned 17 caps, scoring two goals for the United States. The 29-year-old Kyle Beckerman has made 121 appearances for Real Salt Lake, scoring 13 goals and has also won 17 caps for his country. Rogers and Beckerman trained with Kaiserslautern for the first time on Wednesday to maintain their fitness with the MLS season set to resume again in March next year.
