Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Premier League club for an additional two-and-a-half years, the player has announced on his Twitter page. Sorensen joined Stoke from English top-flight rivals Aston Villa in 2008 and is now set to stay at the Britannia Stadium until the end of the 2013/14 season. "Just signed a new contract this morning," Denmark international Sorensen wrote. "Proud to be a Potter for another 2 1/2 years." The 35-year-old Sorensen has played 13 games so far this season for Stoke, who are currently eighth in the table.
