Serbian Milutin Sredojevic has been appointed national coach of Rwanda, stepping in to replace Ghanaian Sellas Tetteh, it was announced today. Sredojevic, the former coach of Sudan, will have three Rwandan assistants, according to a statement by the Rwandan football federation (FERWAFA). Tetteh resigned following the raft of criticism which followed Rwanda's disastrous qualifying campaign for the 2012 CAF African Cup of Nations. Winning only one of their five matches, Rwanda concluded the campaign with a final 5-0 drubbing at home to Côte d'Ivoire. Tetteh's resignation was followed by the FERWAFA president, General Jean Bosco Kazura, who was replaced two weeks ago by Celestin Ntagungira.
