Amkar Perm gave their Russian Premier League survival chances a boost with a 2-1 win on the road at second-bottom Spartak Nalchik. Goals from Vitali Grishin and Nikita Burmistrov secured the points for Amkar, while Nalchik got one back through Jovan Golic in the 82nd minute. The win lifts Amkar ten points clear of the relegation zone, while Nalchik are now just three points ahead of Tomsk after the league's bottom side defeated Volga Nizhny Novgorod 1-0 thanks to Denis Boyarintsev's 41st-minute effort. The day's other match between Anzhi Makhachkala and Spartak Moscow ended goalless.
