Park Chu-Young intends to make the most of any "random chances" which might come his way for Arsenal in 2012. The Korea Republic captain, 26, has only made four appearances since his summer switch from Monaco, scoring a well-taken goal against Bolton Wanderers in the League Cup on 25 October, but not yet playing in the Premier League. That, though, could all change come January, when both Côte d'Ivoire forward Gervinho and Morocco striker Marouane Chamakh are away at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations. Park maintains he is now ready to take whatever opportunities present themselves in the coming weeks. "All my team-mates are great players. I do not expect a chance for me because a player is unavailable," Park told Arsenal Player. "I will do my best to prepare myself to take any random chances at any time." Park added: "I am new to this club and to the Premier League. I am trying hard to learn more and more. I don't worry about getting used to everything or anything. My team-mates are nice to me and I do not have any problems at all regarding training."
