Juventus edged visiting Fiorentina 2-1 to move top of the Italian Serie A Tuesday. The Bianconeri from Turin had Leonardo Bonucci and Alessandro Matri on target for a win that pushed them onto 16 points from eight games.Udinese, on 15, could have a tough time regaining first place when they visit Napoli on Wednesday, while Lazio could move one point above Juve as they play at home to Catania.Champions AC Milan are on 11 points before a home tie to Parma.Juventus dominated in the first half despite their usual mix of speed and inaccuracy and took the lead on 13 minutes with a flick from defender Bonucci after Artur Boruc fumbled a weak shot from Arturo Vidal. That Juve have much room for improvement - as coach Antonio Conte often says - was evident when Mirko Mirko Vucinic misfired two drives, Simone Pepe stumbled on an inviting feed and Arturo Vidal botched three consecutive passes - all of the above in a three-minute bracket before Bonucci's goal.Vucinic fired in two more harmless shots before the break as Juve struggled to no avail against the lacklustre guests.Fiorentina revved up their sluggish pace after the break as Alberto Gilardino came on and Gianni Munari nodded to force a difficult save from Marco Storari. The goalkeeper, who was filling in for the injured Gianluigi Buffon, stood no chance on 57 minutes when Montenegrin Stevan Jovetic drilled a great swerving shot into the right corner.Juve's winner eight minutes later was a precise shot from Alessandro Matri after Pepe set him up before Boruc. The Polish custodian then made a great save on another effort from the striker.Matri and Jovetic, on four and five goals, respectively, trail Udinese's veteran Antonio Di Natale, on six with one game fewer played. The three strikers scored a brace apiece at the weekend."I tried to keep up the tension (at half time). I was very angry because you cannot leave the game open after such a first half," Conte said."In fact we were punished (by the equalizer). We must grow up, but I must also say that I have a wonderful group, willing to work hard."
