French coach Laurent Blanc on Wednesday defended the uninspired draw against Belgium and the players' poor performance after French team failed to score during Tuesday's friendly. In remarks posted on the French Football Federation (FFF), Blanc said 0-0 draw is a little boring and was due to the young age of the players. "Technically, we may be better because the players have a better potential, but (during the) game we were soft and naive. This is because we have players who are kids, children. They can not play like experienced players. The youth has their limits at the highest level," Blanc said. The French coach expected better performance of Les Bleus after the recovery of the injured veteran players who missed the game. France, qualified for the Euro 2012 finals last month, will face Germany in Bremen next February. Les Bleus were drawn along with Albania, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus and Luxembourg in the qualifying stage. It heads group D after scoring 17 points.
