Egypt's Al Ahly football team arrived on Friday in Zambia to play against "Zesco United FC" in the first match of the CAF champions league group stage, set for Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
Upon arrival at the airport on board a private plane, the team was received by Egyptian amb. in Lusaka Ragaie Nasr and several embassy staffers.
Al Ahly's 23-man squad groups goalkeepers Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel Abdel Moneim and Mosaad Awad and defenders Ahmed Hegazi, Rami Rabiaa, Saad Samir, Mohamed Naguib, Ahmed Fathi, Bassem Ali, Mohamed Hany, Sabry Rahil and Hussein El Sayed.
The squad also groups midfielders Hossam Ghaly, Hossam Ashour, Amr el Sulaya, Saleh Gomaa, Waleed Soliman, Ahmed Hamdy, Ramadan Sobhy, Momen Zakaria and Ahmed el Sheikh and attackers Emad Meteb and John Antwi.
