Bologna harnessed the momentum from their surprise win at Inter Milan on Friday to beat Fiorentina 2-0 at home today. First-half goals from Alessandro Diamanti and Gaston Ramirez secured their second straight victory. It also moved them up two places to 14th in the Serie A table, while Fiorentina dropped a place to 13th. For Fiorentina it was a second straight reverse following their 3-0 home defeat by Napoli, also on Friday. Bologna had stunned Inter 3-0 at the San Siro and proved that was no fluke with a result that moved them well clear of the drop zone.
