In 2007 and 2008 the attacker was involved with Waitakere United, before appearing again with his current club in 2009. The words "Winning the Japanese title gives us added motivation. We've already achieved one of our targets with that success and now we want to win both our upcoming matches. We've been very focused in our preparations for the game against Auckland," Nelsinho Baptista, Kashiwa Reysol coach "It's going to be a tough task against the Japanese champions.
