Brazilian striker Ilan has signed a one-year deal with Ajaccio, the French Ligue 1 club confirmed on Thursday. Ilan, 30, has been without a club since leaving Internacional in his homeland last December. He has plenty of experience of the French game, having scored 27 goals in 65 appearances for Sochaux between 2004 and 2006, before spending four years at Saint-Etienne (117 games, 31 goals). Corsican outfit Ajaccio are making their return to Ligue 1 after spending five seasons in the 2nd division. Earlier this summer they signed Mexican international goalkeeper Gullermo Ochoa, 26, from Club America on a three-year contract.
