Jeddah eco. forum to focus on GCC unity - Saudi economist Jeddah - KUNA The Jeddah Economic Forum (JEF) will address the Saudi initiative to transform the GCC into a union as a mean to strengthen the unity amongst Gulf states, said a Saudi economist. Speaking to the press Tuesday, head of JEF and Chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saleh Kamel said that the 12th edition of the forum, on March 3-6, will be attended by around 3,000 economists, adding that the event would adopt the Saudi leadership's vision to transform the GCC into a union. He noted that a number of international figures would be attending the forum, indicating that it would focus on several features aimed at developing economic cooperation amongst GCC partners to address international economic needs.
