Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has launched its application for Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smart watches, which underlines DEWA's commitment to providing its services across all platforms to ease the lives of its customers.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, said, "The Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 smart app is another channel to provide DEWA's services to its customers. This supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to make government services available anytime, anywhere, to achieve customer satisfaction." "Launching DEWA's Galaxy Gear 2 app comes at a time when DEWA is celebrating the full transformation of its services into smart services. DEWA's smart app works on all platforms and devices to ensure ease of use and raise customer satisfaction. It also helps to raise customers' adoption rates of its smart services and make smart channels one of the main choices to complete transactions, in line with DEWA's vision to support smart transformation in the U.A.E. and achieve the vision of the prudent leadership," said Moza Al Akraf, Acting VP of IT and CIO at DEWA.
DEWA has completed smart transformation of all its services in less than a year since the smart transformation strategy was announced, enabling 24/7 access all its services over smart devices.
