British singer Lisa Scott-Lee, one-fifth of pop group Steps, will join DUBAI 92 radio station as a presenter next month, it was announced this week. Welsh-born Scott-Lee, who moved to Dubai in early 2011, will join DUBAI 92’s daily evening drive time programme from January 8. “I'm so excited to be joining Tom and Dan on DUBAI 92 as I'm a big fan of the station and it will be great fun working with the boys!” she said in a statement. Currently presented by Tom Bushell and Dan Marsh, the show is broadcast Sunday to Thursday from 4pm-8pm across the UAE. DUBAI 92 is one of eight stations in the Arabian Radio Network, which regularly attracts 600,000 listeners a month, making it the largest and radio network in the Middle East. The 36-year-old singer recently reunited with her fellow bandmates from Steps in May this year, ten years after the band announced they were splitting up on Boxing Day 2001. Having sold 10 million albums and over two million concert tickets during the group’s five year career, the ABBA-inspired group released a greatest hits album and are planning a 20 date UK reunion tour in April 2012.
