Popular Moscow radio station Radio 7 on Wednesday began broadcasting a remix of Putin's vocals of the popular jazz song Blueberry Hill, the press service of the European Media Group (EMG) that owns the radio station said. A dance remix made by the famous Russian DJ, Andrei Shirman, known as DJ Smash, is being broadcasted by Radio 7 throughout the day under the slogan Premiere from Premier. "I saw the video with the premier singing on the internet. I had lot of fun while making a remix of Blueberry Hill," Shirman said, adding that he is very far from any politics and "not familiar with the premier's art." Shirman however expressed his willingness to meet with Putin personally. "It would be cool...If there is such a possibility, I would like to release an official remix." Putin in December joined world famous actors and entertainers in St. Petersburg at a charity event for children diagnosed with cancer, where he played the Russian song From Where Does the Motherland Begin on the piano and then sang Blueberry Hill in English with jazz performers. That concert then sparked a scandal when children hospitals complained that they had not received any money from the high-profile charity event, organized by Federation charity fund.
