"It has the state-of-the-art technology in radio broadcasting," he said.
He pointed out that the building of the new transmission building is part of the Ministry's plan to develop and overhaul all sectors with a view to enhancing the role of media in serving the society.
In this regard, the Minister said that another broadcasting center would be opened in Subiya neighborhood next week.
A main control center would be also inaugurated in November, he said, adding that these projects would give a significant impetus to the national media potential.
He underlined that the government, led by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, offers an unlimited support to national media's capacity-building and upgrading efforts and plans.
