The Egyptian Radio has dedicated special broadcasting hours to shed light on Egypt's warm welcome to visiting Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Directives were given to unite radio transmission at 12 noon until 4 pm (CLT) to highlight the historic visit as well as the Egyptian-Saudi cooperation, head of the Egyptian Radio Nadia Mabrouk said.
The coverage dealt with security and strategic files as well as ways of confronting terrorism.
Meanwhile, Mabrouk added that the Egyptian Radio will dedicate daily programs to follow up the visit.
Guests at the radio programs included Egypt's strategic Dr Saad el-Zant, director of the political studies and liasion ethics center, Saudi journalist Khaled el Magrashi and Saudi media figure Khaled el Saedi as well as Egypt's former foreign minister Mohammad Kamel Amr.
