Trucks carrying supplies arrive in Gaza Rafah - Yusry Mohammed A tunnel has collapsed at the Rafah crossing in Egypt, used to smuggle goods to Gaza. Eyewitnesses said trucks loaded with building materials entered the tunnel causing it and surrounding streets to subside. Three large lorries were required to try to pull the truck back out of the tunnel. They said Rafah City Council decided to fill up the hole with sand and dirt but locals said this was not enough to prevent the tunnel from collapsing again, which had been brought on by heavy rainfall.
