Training boost across Qatari schools Doha - Arabstoday A memorandum of understanding has been signed by Qatar's Supreme Education Council (SEC), Maersk Oil Qatar and the College of the North Atlantic-Qatar (CNA-Q) to enhance cooperation in the development of the robots programme and Robot Olympiad in the country's schools, Gulf Times has reported. The two-year educational programme, which is based on the toolkit of Lego Mindstorm robotics and open to all schools in Qatar, will feature a variety of activities including the provision of android tools, training of teachers and students and hosting a series of robotic competitions, including the National Robot Olympiad in Qatar. The qualifying teams in the event will participate in the finals of the World Robot Olympiad in Jakarta, Indonesia.
