The “2017 IIE Heiskell Awards for Innovation in International Education” of the American Institute of International Education (IIE) was awarded to the International University of Rabat (UIR) and its American academic partner Mississippi State University (MSU).
The UIR and MSU were rewarded for their innovation in the field of higher education through their double-degree partnership in the field of automotive engineering, initiated since 2014, said a statement by the University.
An independent not-for-profit founded in 1919, the American Institute of International Education is among the world’s largest and most experienced international education and training organizations.
IIE mission is to advance international education and access to education worldwide mainly through managing scholarships, training, exchange as well as leadership programs, and conducting research and facilitating policy dialogue on global higher education.
