A delegation from the US Harvard University arrived in Abu Dhabi and met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
During the meeting, professors and students of Harvard University were briefed on a number of topics and issues of common interest, as well as the pioneering role played by the UAE to support and empower women through best possible educational and employment opportunities.
The multiple-day visit aims to observe the innovations and practices of the UAE government in the fields of strategy and security and to get acquainted with the practices and experiences of the UAE government in several areas.
The minister welcomed the visiting team, noting that the visit reflects the UAE’s keenness to strengthen its partnership with prestigious global institutions, reported Wam, the state news agency.
He also stressed the UAE’s continuous support to young people, given their important role in the nation-building process.
The guests were delighted to meet the UAE Foreign Minister, and praised the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership, citing the ongoing development throughout the country.
"The UAE is a role model in the light of its successes and achievements in various fields," the delegates said.
