Ministry of Awqaf keen on spreading true image of Islam

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa has said his ministry is keen on spreading the true image of Islam across the world.

This came during a meeting with a delegation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos under Secretary and Chief Executive Officer Yasmin Busran-Lao.

The meeting dwelt on the conditions of the Muslims in The Philippines and cooperation between Egypt and the Muslims there.

Busran-Lao praised the efforts of the ministry of Awqaf in explaining the true image of Islam through imams around the world delegated by the Awqaf ministry.

A cooperation protocol is now in the making to coordinate between Egypt and the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos to boost integration of Muslims in the Asian country.
