Tasked by Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Noaimi participated in the 19th Session of Arab Ministers of Education & Officials in-charge of Cultural Affairs in Riyadh, KSA.
Dr. Al-Noaimi in his speech at the meeting commended the constant follow-up of the 18th conference resolutions dated November 2012 which culminated in the announcement of "Manama as the Capital of Arab Culture".
The Minister of Education hailed the anticipated outcomes of this conference hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in compliance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the sisterly Kingdom's provision of all means aimed to ensure the success of this conference.
The Minister stressed the importance of cultural relations in consolidation of relations between Arab countries in the light of global developments, and in boosting the bonds and vivid interaction all over the Arab world. He cited the role of culture in the revival and activation of joint Arab heritage and cultural values which form the fabric of our community and culture especially as Arab, Muslim culture is rife with accomplishments that should be passed down to from generation to another especially nowadays in an age in which knowledge and technical communication have gained so much significance.
