Dubai Culture is showcasing Dubai's heritage sites on Dubai360.com, the "world's largest” online interactive city tour that features panoramic photos, time lapses and videos.
The initiative is also being promoted at the Arabian Travel Market at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Dubai360 presentation is available at the Dubai Culture stand at the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) pavilion in Hall 2.
Shatha Lootah, Marketing Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communication Department, Dubai Culture, said: "Dubai Culture is committed to celebrating our cultural heritage and taking it to the widest possible audience through innovative platforms. Through our collaboration with Dubai360, we are presenting the diverse heritage sites in the city online, serving as an interactive channel for visitors around the world to view the compelling history of Dubai.”
Esmail Al Hashemi, Project Manager, Dubai360, said: "Through our partnership with Dubai Culture, the introduction of heritage structures on the Dubai360 website marks the next step of the platform's development and will showcase many of the city's hidden treasures to the world dating back to the 18th century.”
At a click of a button, visitors can now explore Dubai Museum and Al Fahidi Fort. People will also have the chance to learn more about The Heritage and Diving Village in Al Shindagha Historical Neighbourhood.
The other heritage sites featured include Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House, Al Ahmadiya School, Traditional Architecture Museum, Heritage House, Hatta Heritage Village, Horse Museum, Camel Museum and the Coins Museum, among others.
