Moroccan Mohamed Bennis Paris - Arab Today Moroccan Mohamed Bennis was awarded on Wednesday the “Max Jacob” poetry prize for his collection “Lieu païen” in its French translation by Bernard Noël. The award was recently presented to the Moroccan poet by the Association of Friends of “Max Jacob” in recognition of his work and his presence in the French language. The award ceremony kicks off the program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the death of French poet, novelist, and painter, Max Jacob (1876-1944). Source: MAP
