Russia’s President Vladimir Putin offered condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, in connection with the tragedy in the Great Mosque of Mecca, the Kremlin’s press service said on Saturday
"The Russian president said Russia is sincerely sorry about the many victims among the pilgrims, who had come to the holy places of Islam," the press service said.
Vladimir Putin offered condolences to families and friends of the victims and also wished soonest recovery to those injured in the accident.
