The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today strongly denounced the terror offensive which took place yesterday as a man carrying a knife attacked the security patrol stationed in front of the Louvre museum in the French capital of Paris.
In a statement, the Secretary General of OIC Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al Othaimeen expressed his disappointment over this heinous crime which includes, according to preliminary investigations launched into the incident by the French authorities, the implications of a terrorist stamp, confirming the solidarity of OIC with France and French people.
He reiterated the OIC's firm position against terrorism and extremism, calling for unifying international efforts to combat this phenomenon.
